Greetings
It is very common for toddlers to have small, movable lumps in the neck and behind the ears; these are usually swollen lymph nodes reacting to your baby's frequent colds. As the immune system fights off infections, these nodes enlarge and may take weeks or even months to shrink back down. While usually harmless, a pediatrician should examine them to confirm they are reactive and not related to other issues.
So kindly consult doctor in person
Lymph nodes will enlarge in size if there s any infection especially viral infection. Unless and until If there are painful no need to worry . They will decrease in size with age .
Hi regarding your concern i would like to inform you that as per your history this is nothing but a lymphnode which is usually present in our body but whenever baby catches infection these nodes got infected and swelled up and present as bumpy swelling ..
If the size is reducible so you can wait
Hi, as already mentioned this is a lymph node. Lymph nodes remove bodily infections. Any small infection can cause a lymph node to swell.
So you need not worry about this.
Next Steps
Watch if it suddenly grows in size or becomes painful
Yes these are called Lymphnodes
They generally swellup and increases in size whenever the infection present and slowly comes down to normal size
They are harmless
Nothing to worry
