Lumps on my baby's head and neck
My son is 9 months old there were lumps on my baby's back of the head. And recently I have noticed two mor lumps one on head near previous one and one on neck. They all are movable when I touch them. His doctor said that it happens because of dandruff .

These small size mass or lumps in the neck are lymph nodes , generally appear in response to surrounding infection. These nodes are insignificant untill and unless painful on palpation or rapid increase in size.

If it is tiny sized like marble then it may be a lymphnodes which are palpable and as doctor said it may be due to dandruff or it may be due to some local infection or inflammation which cause enlarged local lymphnodes. Need to get some other details like is there any fever or other symptoms for further management plan.

use baby shampoo and don't apply home made oil. consult pediatrician if fever, cough , cold, swelling or lump is increasing or painfull or reddish.
