Lumps and boil on head

Asked for Female, 20 Years

There are boils and lumps on my wifes head and back of neck but now boils are less and from yesterday 1 lump is v painful. It is back of neck. Does it v serious matter or not a serious plz say. Because our doctor said that it is skin infection . On starting of this boils were painful and pus was comming frm it but now boils are not so painful. Please suggest
