I have a lump on the right leg beneath my knee. It is almost 5yrs old. I don't have any pain. Initially it was not showing any growth but now it has become bit large and the outer skin is deepened to inside. One year back I was diagnosed with SLE (1+) only. So should I remove the lump?

Difficult to answer your question frankly... If it's harmless can be left as it is, unless ur worried about cosmetic issues. If it's harmful, like a cancer in waiting, then should be removed.
Next Steps
See a physician and let him assess what it looks like. Then decide.

⢠Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.
It needs proper clinical evaluation to find out de nature of the swelling as the size is increasing before deciding the line of management... Better visit my ORTHODERM bone n skin clinic in kilpauk evening 7-10pm if you want proper treatment
