Asked for Female, 37 Years

My wife has what looks like an inflamed tonsil but she’s had her tonsils out. She is booked for ENT. Had swobs which says she’s no infection. Now sat waiting for an urgent ENT but adamant she has cancer, thoughts? She’s beside herself and can’t function. Help

She seems to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. Many times this condition leads to chronic throat pain and patient tend to develop cancer phobia. She needs to undergo endoscopic examination of throat so that she will get video proof of normal throat
