Lump in my neck

Asked for Female, 26 Years

Hi, There is a sudden lump i noticed in my neck (right below where hair strands start). It is not visible outside but when touching it can feel the lump (size of a chickpea). It is painful while touching and entire side of the neck is painful which is very disturbing. There isn't any insect bite mark or patch seen. Please help understand what should i do. Thanks
