Lump at the bottom of head/neck area

Hi, iv had this squishy little bump/lump at the bottom of my head/ top of neck area at the right hand side. ( same position where my hair starts). Iv had for as long as i can remember but i have recently becoming scared about it and i dont know why. It does cause me any bother and only when pressed down is tender. What could it be? Is it normal ?
