I recovered from covid last week and it's been 7 days. I am having pain in the gum near last wisdom tooth while chewing and opening mouth.
I went to dentist and he diagnosed pericoronitis and has given me amoxiclav 650.
I didn't took steroids and I don't have diabetes. Do I have any chance of getting black fungus? I'm very worried.

No u won’t have black fungus aka mucormycosis. That condition is for debilitated less immune patients. Use salty warm water gargling. Get the pericoronitis removed by laser or blade incision.
No doesn’t sound like black fungus. Probably ur wisdom tooth is trying to erupt but doesn’t have sufficient space in ur jaw, because of which it is causing swelling and pain. The inflamed gum tissue covering your wisdom tooth known as operculum might cause food entrapment and become a source of infection. You need to get an Xray done to find out the angulation and extent of impaction of the wisdom tooth. If the problem persists, it might need to be removed. Meanwhile you can take Tab Ketorol Dt SOS whenever u have pain. Do warm saline rinses 3-4 times daily and betadine gargle twice daily.
Next Steps
Visit your local dentist for Xray Scan/ OPG
Health Tips
The tooth might need extraction after evaluating clinically and radiographically if problem persists.
I would not like to comment on chance but what you have right now is not black fungus. It's an infection of the gums near your wisdom tooth due to food accumulation.
It is very common in individuals with erupting or partially erupted wisdom teeth.
So don't worry.
Next Steps
Continue the medication prescribed by your dentist.
Health Tips
Use any medicated mouthwash twice daily. Warm saline rinse thrice daily.
