Hi Doctor,
My name is Manikanta, this about my mother's back pain, where is struggling with lower back pain and which is also going down to leg. In MRI reports they mentioned a word L4L5 disk building.
I'm planning to take appointment with you on this Monday(1/08/2017). Kindly advise with some precautions to get her pain minimal till we visit hospital. Also let me know the best time to get your appointment.
Awaiting your response.
Regards,
Manikanta

Dear Manikanta,
A disc bulge is usually not an emergency. If you have any painkillers she can use them. I would advise her to take rest and sleep on her side with her hips and knees folded. She should avoid bending forwards and ground level activities. Although I'm sure I'll be of more assistance if you see me. I am available from 5.30 to 8.30pm at my clinic.
Thank you.
