MRI of the LS Spine performed on 3T (32 channel) Siemens Spectra MRI Scan Machine: SEQUENCES: AXIAL - T2WI, T1WI, SAGITTAL - T2WI, T2STIR, T1WI: Clinical Presentation: History of LBA and Bilateral lower limb radiating pain. Findings:  Type II Modic changes noted at L5 and S1 vertebrae  Osteophytes are seen along L5 and S1 vertebrae.  Disc desiccation of L1-L2 and L5-S1 intervertebral discs noted.  Reduced intervertebral disc spaces noted L1-L2 and L5-S1 levels.  Mild diffuse disc bulges noted at L2-L3 and L3-L4 intervertebral disc levels causing indentation on anterior thecal sac.  Broad based disc protrusion with focal annular tear noted at L4-L5 intervertebral disc level, causing compression on anterior thecal sac, resulting in bilateral neural foramina narrowing and compression of nerve roots on both sides.  Broad based disc protrusion noted at L5-S1 intervertebral disc level, causing compression on anterior thecal sac, resulting in bilateral neural fora

• Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily • . Avoid bending in front. • Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. • Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down.
