Lower abdomen right side pain

Asked for Female, 26 Years

26 yr old female. I experienced irregular periods few times in last 9 months n i am expecting period this week. I experienced pain in my lower abdomen right side from day before yesterday and thought it was because periods is comming but the pain is getting stronger can it be appendix problem
