It's been one week, my husband has been having constant pain in the lower left abdomen. Below the belly button. Shot up when he lifted our toddler in the wrong posture. Worsens when doing activities that include abdominal muscles. Motion is formed, no pain while passing urine.

Lower left abdomen can be appendicitis
Is there any fever or vomiting
It can also be hernia
Is there any mass protruding when coughing
It can be a muscle strain also
Better to get a usg abdomen and pelvis done and get consult with surgeon
Constant lower abdominal pain is not very informative. More details expected. Could be a muscular spasm if related to work or movement. But if urinary problems are present, it could be related to an issue in the urinary tract. Worsening pain while doing activities could indicate a muscle spasm. A course of muscle relaxant can be tried and if there is no or inadequate response, next step can be taken. But more detailed history is required for prescribing.
Next Steps
detailed history needed according to which muscle relaxants can be prescribed. if fails and if intensity of pain is too much, usg abdomen and pelvis to be done to rule out any other cause
