Hi Bhargav, weight gain is a slower process as compared to weight loss so first thing you need keep patience when trying to gain weight.
Secondly don’t focus on eating large quantity of meals that will make you uneasy and you will more likely to quite. Rather try to eat calories and protein dense options to gain muscle.
Don’t eat too much of oily or high fat food nor restrict too much of fat both won’t in your favour.
Try to include 1.5g protein per kg ideal body weight.

Hi, Weight is a sum total of Bone, Water, Muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy .Have a well balanced diet. Eat 6-8 meals a day. Have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like
Banana or Mango milkshake, Mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis, Soya or paneer veg rolls etc. Include high
biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- Milk, curd,Paneer, Meat,Fish,Eggs etc.
Include essential fats like Almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds etc. Eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. Do not fast or overeat as this will not help.
Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products like milk, Curd, Paneer, Non-veg like Chicken, red meat etc.
