Low Hemoglobin
My kid having HB only 4.9. She is 3 years old. Doctor asked to hospitalize her for blood transfusion. Please suggest what can I do?

Please take opinion of Pediatric hematologist in your area don't be in a hurry for blood transfusion if child is not in cardiac failure. Patient needs to be investigated why so low Heamoglobin. Hemoglobin electrophoresis test need to be done to rule out thallaasemia, sickle cell anemia,or iron deficiency anemia etc.
