I'm facing low back pain from last 2 months and my muscles cause a lot of spasm. My MRI says - Evidence of disc desiccation at l1-l2 and l2-l3, with schmorl's nodes and disc bulge at l2-l3 indenting the cauda equina nerve root, though I don't have any radiating pain in my legs. Please tell me what can I do.

How much do you require to sit through the day? Check your posture and working habits. Create an ergonomic environment. Probably you are tall enough and hinging from the mid back to undertake your tasks.
