Loss of smelling

Asked for Female, 27 Years

My wife was suffering from severe cold (running nose and sneezing) for past 6months. She consulted the Dr registered on practo on 29th August'17 and Dr given medicine Allegra, Livokast & Nasal spray FluticonFT. But since yesterday she realised that she is unable to smell any thing. Our Dr doesn't share her number to contact. Hence would you pls advise this happened because of above medicines or we should contact any neuro surgeon. Erlier reply will be appreciated.
