Loss of smell of related to food
My mother was experiencing symptoms such as body ache, mild fever, stuffy nose, throat irritation. She is taking medication and all other symptoms are gone but since 3 days she is not able to smell food items. Smells of deo, creams, room freshener she is able to identify. Her sense of taste is normal. Now I am confused what should be my next step. Doctor is saying loss of smell of food item is because of accumulation cough in throat and nose.
