My friend was affected by corona and was admitted in the hospital for 4 days and recovered it's been a week she's home quarantined now she suddenly tells me she's lost the sense of smell as in the odour is not strong its mild are there any chances that she might be infected??? Please help me

Loss of sensation of smell may occur at any time during the course of the disease and may persist for a while after the disease. Some of my patients have had it for 3 months or more. Very few though. Please do not worry
Study shows that those with anosmia or hyposmia actually have better prognosis.
