I have shoulder pain and when the doctor advised for MRI of cervical spine and shoulder , it showed loss of cervical lordosis and it said early disc dessication changes seen. As of now there is not any discomfort in the neck. But I would like to know if anything should be done for these and if they are of concern ?

Loss of cervical lordosis and early disc desiccation are common early degenerative changes in the cervical spine. These findings are not serious if there is no neck pain, no nerve compression, and no neurological symptoms.
Next Steps
Maintain good neck posture and Avoid prolonged neck bending.
Do regular neck strengthening exercises.
Take short breaks during long sitting or computer work.
Regular shoulder and neck stretching exercises will help prevent symptoms.
