Hello Doctors,
My kid Aarushi aged 4 years had 2 episodes of vomiting. Werecently (14th July) moved from our home town Vizag to Hyderabad. Since then due to some unavoidable situation had outside food for 3 days. On Thursday night (around 7:30pm) and on Friday night around same time, she had vomiting. We took her to nearest hospital where the doctor mentioned it as gastolis. He prescribed to give a tablet Lanzol Jr. once a day on empty stomach and Ondem syrup of 5ml thrice a day. Since then, she is having severe loose motions.
Could some one help us on this regard.
Many thanks for your time and support
Thanks and regards

Hi...
Your child is having acute gastro enteritis...
In acute gastro enteritis there will be both vomitings and loose stools...but many times child may initially have vomitings only followed by loose stools...
Ondem or lanzole are nothing to do with loose stools...
So for loose stools take consultation again offline or online...
Your child has gastric enteritis .For loose motions give her ors , probiotic like enterogermina respules 2 respules ( mrng and evng ) per day for 3 days. Continue ondem .
Next Steps
See for signs of dehydration. If Necessary consult paediatrician
