Looking for an long term counselling from an experienced psychologist. Preferably someone who doesn't recommend me Yoga and meditation for the 1000th time. (The first 5 sessions are wasted on this by so many doctors so would like to go past those steps)
Issues range from childhood trauma to long term depression. I have generally been "I'll figure it out myself" kind of person all my life so trust is important for me.
I have consulted before but lost touch with because of change of cities.
Patient-Doctor privilege is something I value.
I generally keep changing cities often, so remote consultation is something I would really love to have. Bangalore is preferred though.

You should seek a good balance between therapy as well as medications if required as clinically speaking these 2 combined together have a better prognosis for depression
When you don't get the relief it gets frustrating for sure.
Just a suggestion, let the diagnosis be to the expert and trust the therapist.

Firstly I would really appreciate your honesty. It Seems like you had disappointing experience of therapy before but I am glad you reach out again. I can understand the level of disappointment when your therapist just simply recommends yoga and meditation without working on the actual root causes.
And Yes, trust is the biggest factor in the client therapist relationship, you just can't do anything much without that.
