Skin lesions that look like psoriasis typically appear as red, thickened patches with white or silvery scales, sometimes with itching. However, fungal infection or eczema can look similar, so proper examination is important before starting treatment. Avoid self-using steroid creams. Keep the skin moisturized and avoid scratching. Applying coconut oil can reduce dryness temporarily. For accurate diagnosis and appropriate management, you may visit our clinic for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment.

Hi there...
You appear to be a medical professional as per the history stated on this App.
Psoriasis is not a diagnosis to make or take lightly. Trust you have done a skin biopsy and histopathological analysis to confirm.
Also, the treatment stated is a "mixed bag" and use of long term topical or oral steroids has to be condemned or done with strict controls in place by a qualified Dermatologist and for specific indications only... Else this is going to get worse and go downhill fast.

Avoid OTC products, home remedies and Dr Google suggestions 🙏
Long term steroids are never a good idea if indeed Psoriasis is confirmed as a diagnosis. Don't suddenly stop but Taper and 🛑
Since when medrol are you taking? Were you on 4 mg or were you on higher dose? Oral steroid is contraindicated in psoriasis.
Please do not stop steroid abruptly
