I recently stop taking the tablet for 5 days and felt some changes in my activity like angry and low mood all the day . Now what my fear is does taking antidepressants tablets for long period of time damages kidney? . Because my aunt is suffering from kidney disease since she had taken lot of pills in her early days. She is 70 year old now Awaiting your reply

The good news and to answer your question, there is no possiblity of kidney damage with antidepressants and the medicines you are currently on. So no need to worry about kidney damage The bad news is  you are on a combination drug( depran l), which has another anti anxiety medication called Clonazepam added to the antidepressant - molecule. Clonazepam can be addictive, so the effects you are having on stopping the drug is probably because of it. But the good thing again is you are most probably not on a high dose of it, so it can be easily tapered off, keeping the antidepressant intact. And lastly, we need to look at possible psychotherapies for you, to eventually entertain the possibility of stopping your medications.
