If your liver condition is mild and well-managed before and during pregnancy, it is unlikely to cause problems for the baby. Liv 52 is an herbal supplement marketed for liver health. While it is generally considered safe for most people, there is limited scientific evidence about its safety during pregnancy or its effectiveness in treating fatty liver. It’s best to consult your doctor before starting any medication or supplement, especially since you are considering pregnancy.
Next Steps
To minimize risks: Maintain a healthy weight. Follow a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while avoiding fatty or sugary foods. Exercise regularly (with your doctor’s approval). Avoid alcohol and any unnecessary medications that could affect the liver.
Health Tips
Consult a gastroenterologist or hepatologist for further evaluation of your fatty liver and enzyme levels. Work on lifestyle changes like diet and exercise to improve your liver health.
