Little blood in nose mucus
Hi i got vaccinated with Covaxin two days ago, when I woke up, I found little blood mixed in my mucus in morning, is it normal or something to worry about?

As a ENT SURGEON I can guide you on that, if u would have shared a picture of mucous that would had very useful in analysis of amount of blood loss and consistency and colour of mucous. Had u experienced it in past also. It’s usually due to abrasion of small blood vessels in the nose. Other reason can be little area trauma, atrophic rhinitis, excessive drying of nose, excessive blowing of nose, allergic rhinitis or excessive use of nasal drops. Right now there has been no association between the vaccine and the nasal bleed Feel free to consult with your detailed history so that it’s further episode Can be prevented an actual pathology behind this can be sorted out
