Went for general check up and my husband's lipoprotein level is slightly high .. And cholesterol level also in border.. other than that everything is normal.. my father in law's lipoprotein also high and cholesterol in border but he don't have any heart issues and he is healthy.. now Iam so worried about my husband's health.. is high lipoprotein cause heart problem? Is there any chance to lower lipoprotein?

High LPa is a precursor of future Coronary artery disease . If LDL and Non HDL cholesterol is also high then along with lifestyle modification should be on statins for few months ( min 3 ). In the meantime check the serum Homocysteine and Hs CRP
