I am getting fat due to less or no physical work as I am studying for Civil service exam and remain indoor most time. I am afraid that in future I will get lifestyle disease, so please tell me should I join gym or do running and home workout help me to build good physique. I never consume fast food, oily or any other harmful diet..only by eating home made food( Vegetable dish,pulse and 4 chapati) I am gaining weight, also I drink milk tea 3 cups daily. Please suggest me something to get fit

Go for morning or evening walk 45 min Drink  4 to 5 liter water daily include  fruits  n salads  mostly. Also keep diner  oats or flakes . Also can try diet plan it will help u surely

70% diet and 30% exercise are advisable for reducing weight. Do’s- used skimmed/ single tonned milk (300)ml daily . Curd and paneer is made up from the single tonned milk also Use olive oil, sunflower, rice bran oil , saffola, mustard oil in cooking Can take artificial sweeteners ( maximum 4 tablets a day) Don’t- avoid sugar completely and it’s products Avoid roots vegetables like potato, arbhi , zimikand etc. Avoid pickles and papad , processed food, canned, preserved food Avoid banana , mango etc.

Beacuse of siting for long hours you must be gaining weight start doing daily 40 min brisk walk you can do any time . You can join gym also . And take balance diet.
