Dear Patient,
What you should do:
• Apply coconut oil or olive oil on the scalp at night and cover the hair. In the morning, use a fine lice comb to remove lice and eggs. Repeat daily for 5–7 days.
• You can also wash hair with neem water or use diluted vinegar before hair wash to help loosen eggs.
• Medicated anti-lice shampoo containing permethrin or ivermectin can be used once and repeated after 7 days for better results.
Important precautions:
• Wash pillow covers, bedsheets, towels, and hair accessories in hot water.
• Do not share combs or hair bands.
• Check other family members and treat if needed.
Most cases improve within 1–2 weeks with proper treatment. If itching is severe or lice persist despite treatment, consult me on practo
