Less facial hair growth(follicles only)

I am boy having 20 yrs old...My problem is that I have no facial hair and also no moustache...My friends have thicker beard..But i have no beard..I had tried mintop(mindoxyll 5% oil for two weeks..But no change..Now it's a prestigious issue..I don't think it's a genetic problem ...Because my father have beard but he is a clean shave men.so pls tell
