there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to growth pain. it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin d, vitamin b12 iron and calcium deficiency. if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it is but obvious that during the night time there might be limb pain. if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required

There can be multiple causes of limb pain on children at this age. A proper detailed history is important, like if the child has had history of trauma in past, is the child very active and running throughout the day? Is the pain in both the foot or in only one? Is the pain progressive, eg. firstly it was in one foot, now in both foot...or is the pain migratory in nature, involving other joints like knee joints?
Next Steps
Syp ibugesic plus can be given for now for symptomatic relief, but cannot be given for a long time.
Health Tips
If any of the above are yes, some blood tests will be needed and treatment will be started.
