Left Toe pain

Asked for Female, 53 Years

Hello, My mom has a pain in her left toe that comes and goes. We went to an orthopaedic doctor and did blood test as well and everything was fine. The doctor recommended medication for calcium defeciency which is for 3 months. Almost 2 months are done but the pain is still the same. Could you please assist? Thanks Regards Gautam

Pain traveling to and fro has a connection with nerve. I would like to know what aggrevates it and what is relieving the pain. Also can you define pain whether it's throbbing or dull ache or pins and needle kind.

Consult Podiatrist or Sports physio who can assess her footwear and gait (walking) pattern.

Ask her to dip the foot in cold water or apply ice in the area of pain for 5-10 minutes only. Thrice a day. If her sensations in the foot are intact.
