If u have got the x-rays done and it shows no fracture, give her any over the counter analgesic. Paracetamol 650mg three times a day will be sufficient and safe at her age. Also ice pack compress can help bring down the swelling. If x-rays have not been done get them done and consult an orthopaedic surgeon.

Hello, your mom is 50plus , and if you are sure there is no ligament injuries or any ... you can take para 650.. what I would suggest is consult an orthopecian before you come to your own conclusions.
It's always better to.consult and prevent further damages.
