It is true that this medicine belongs animal kingdom but the process dicreases the amount of substance to an invisible particle. So in the form of homoeopathic potancy it is not considered as veg or non veg.
As regarding loss of appetite and other issues can be covered by other medicines such as china 30, pulsatilla 30 ,Alfalfa and other tonics . There are many effective medicines
