Late period

Asked for Female, 20 Years

I am 20 years old, and I have always had a regular period, however, my period is late this month, and is about 7 days late today. I have never had sex before, but I am sexually active with my boyfriend but I have never had intercourse with him or anyone. I don't know what is going on, unless it could be a hormonal imbalance? Please let me know what you think it could be and what I can do about it.

Wait for one more week,then if not getting your periods you can go for urine pregnancy test( Home pregnancy test kit). If the result is negative, delay can be due to stress of various reasons.
