Kissing on cheeks is absolutely fine if they are not having any communicable disease. And also if baby is not having any kind of allergy. Regarding eating from same plates is also absolutely fine unless they are prone to any disease or if they have any fungal infections in their finger or face.

Well you cant stop grandparents to kiss their grandchildren, but one should avoid kissing babies that can lead to mild allergies, and yes sharing plates with them is totally fine if they are healthy and do not have cough ,or chronic obstructive disease(COPD).
