My father had undegone a normal routine check up where we found that that his creatinine is 1.5 mg/dl and his Blood urea is 42 mg/dl. His Gs asked him to see a Nephrologist but the Nephrologist laughed at us and asked us to chill. I am really worried as I calculated his Gfr and it is showing 52.. I am really worried please help! P.S: His suffers from high BP. Recently his BP showed 130/70 mm Hg.

Serum creatinine of 1.5 mg per dl is increased from normal limits. At minimum, he requires evaluation in the form of complete KFT, urine routine examination and Ultrasound-KUB. He may not require treatment, but cause should be identified for mildly increased serum creatinine.
