Kept hand in heat vessel

My one year kid kept his hand unknowingly in heat vessel. Am applying coconut oil in that place.
Is that enough.
Shall I apply any other thing??

This looks like a 2 degree superficial burn.
It heals on it's own in 7-10 days provided it doesn't get infected.
My advise would be to apply some antibiotics ointment on it to prevent such infection.
