Jock Itch - Groin Region
I have had Jock Itch for a long time now. My doctor prescribed me Onabet and Sebifin for the disease. He also advised me to wear loose undergarments, keep the area dry, etc. I have followed each and every precaution. Till I am on medication there isn't any problem. But as soon as I stop medication when the problem is gone, it relapses within few weeks. Am I supposed to be on medication forever? Isn't there a permanent solution to this irritating problem?

Greetings.  no - the medication isn't forever and should not be taken long term without doctors advise and blood tests.  kindly see a qualified dermatologist near you or send in the photos of the lesion and complete details of treatment taken on practo direct consult.  Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal, Bengaluru.
