I have jaw 2nd primary cancer. I operated my 1st cancer of left tongue before 5yrs. I had taken 4cycle of chemo and 60 gys radiation in neck and face. But after 5 yrs cancer again ditecte on my left jaw. Doctor told me its 2nd new primary cancer. Please suggest is it cuz. My doctor it may be cure, Need to operate Asap. Doctor told me bone plastic surgery is very difficult on my case because I already taken chemo and radiation. Mussle from chest will be better. the plan of management is acceptible but free fibula can be tried first depending on the nature vessels in the neck but if neck vessels are not good then intraoperatively decision to take chest muscle can be taken...

He is right that this is a second cancer. But regarding reconstruction, I would disagree with him about using muscle. We regularly do post radiation reconstruction with bone in cases like yours, very successfully. You can contact me if you want a good bone reconstruction done.
