Ivf treatment
I have a doubt, considering ivf treatment for myself since I have a 12 year old only but there is a need for sibling.. So if I undergo treatment and suppose multiple embryos are formed say 5 but I can choose to implant 1 or 2, what will happen to the rest of them? Will those embryos get disposed? Also will this way of creating a baby affect it? Like autism or physical or mental disturbances? Please help me understand as my family is against it due to their religious opinions but I still feel need to do ivf Thank you

IVF is done only if there is an indication for it. It cannot be done because you choose it. Why don't you want to try the normal route? IVF babies are very normal. The remaining embryos can be destroyed, donated.

Extra Embryos will be disposed after  a certain period .No obvious  Health related  conditions in IVF babies. Though  you are 38,you can try for Natural  pregnancy  in next 3 to 4 months.
