Hello my sister has irregular periods 35-40 day cycle she got last periods on 16th sep doctor monitored her abdominal went for iui on 11 th oct after that on 28 & 29 oct she had spotting done upt on 30 and 5 nov but it was negative she has not get periods yet. What to do dr told to eat tablet for period.shall her wait or start tablet because she was having symptoms like breast tender ness nausea etc.

If your doctor has confirmed that there is no pregnancy and asked her to go ahead with tablet for withdrawal bleeding , she should take the tablet . Such symptoms may be premenstrual.

A delay of more than 7 days is not normal if the pregnancy test is negative she needs a  medicine to help her  get her  periods the symptoms are very vague n  not specific for anything
