IUGR born at 38 weeks
Hello my baby birth weight was 2.6kgs and she is at 8 months now and her weight is 7.1kgs head circumference is 42.5cms and length 67cms. How long it will take for her to catch up like the normal babies. What food I can give and frequency to increase weight. We are vegetarians and I wanted to give egg white and yellow. Also I give avacado, potato,banana nuts, dal and Ragi any other food to increase weight

At current age ,your babies weight, height and head circumference are within the normal range....give atleast 3 meals if your child is taking breastfeeding

Don’t worry, growth of the baby is normal You can continue giving the same weaning foods (semi solid consistency) Continue breastfeeding too Catch up gradually occurs till 2-3 years age
