Itchy yesterday, now sore leg muscle

I have noticed little bruises on the back of my calf over the last 24 hours. Initially, my leg was feeling itchy, which prompted me to check for any bites or lumps, but only to see a cluster of little bruises. Is this a sign of a blood clotting condition such as a DVT?
