I have had intense itching around my mouth for the last 5 days, mainly below the lower lip and at the corners of the mouth. It is worst right after waking up and sometimes wakes me from sleep. The affected skin becomes very dry, tight, and flaky, and moisturizer provides only temporary relief.
Initially, there were 1–2 pus-filled/acne-like bumps, but now the main symptoms are itching, mild redness, and tiny red/white bumps that appear during flare-ups and become less noticeable when the itching settles. I also occasionally get similar itching, dryness, and small bumps around the unibrow/eyebrow area and near the eyes. I have not changed my regular skincare products recently, and changing my pillowcase and toothpaste did not help.
