Itchy anus

Asked for Male, 21 Years

This is embarrassing. I've been having very frequent bowel movements lately. I have very good hygiene, however, my anus and the surrounding area have been very irritated recently, the most notable symptom being an intense itch. I wash very thoroughly every morning. There have been no signs of anything like threadworms. I'm not sure what it could be. I'd really appreciate any help.
