Is this vulvodynia or something else ?
I am from VSLSAD, Gujarat. I have been having burning sensation in the vaginal opening for the last one year and it persists all the time. Sometimes there is burning and itching in the labia and I feel a lot of discomfort. I consulted a gynaecologist. He said everything is normal but I have problem in sitting also. Sometimes the burning sensation is more or less but it occurs all the time. I consulted a dermatologist also and he said everything is normal. All my reports are normal and the vaginal swab report is also normal. Is this vulvodynia or something else? Please if there is any gynaec nearby who can help me, please suggest me something.

You should take a course of antifungal cream locally because that is the commonest infection. Vulvodynia is a diagnosis by exclusion. When no other cause has been found.
