My wife Manisha Bhattacharyya is suffering from Spino Cerebellar Ataxia(SCA-2, hereditary)for the last 16yrs with a strong family history from her maternal side,my only son Sayantan (aged 38 yrs) has also been diagnosed with same disease which is very much progressive in nature with acute movement disorders, lack of coordination of limbs and body balance problems etc ,both of them taking similar medications from Dr.H.Kumar of the Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata ,W.Bengal,but unfortunately their health conditions are slowl
y detoirating without any improvement .
I want to consult with one of the best Neurologists in the above matter who can atleast support us for their better future lives,through medications, genetic therapky (if any) and appropriate physiotherapy etc.
