Is the eye one of hiv transmission route
I work in a clinical setting and handles patien bloods like everyday. Some splash to my face and got in my eye. So I want to know since the eye has mucous membranes. Can hive be transmitted through the eye mucous membranes?

Yes mucous lining of eye is definitely one of the ways of HIV transmission.
If it was a HIV positive patient then start PEP immediately.
