My dermatologist has been prescribing Sotret 20mg to me since the last 3 consultations - 105 days; taken twice a day. I don't see much difference in the condition. He told me that it would take me 10 months to recover. Even after knowing that I have PCOD, he didn't ask me to lose weight. My acne isn't so severe that it should take me 10 months to recover. Should I consider changing my dermatologist? He is a very famous one in Noida. But seems really wrong to me. It's almost like a contract I'm bound by. Please tell me if he's the right doctor, as his consultations and medicines are really expensive. He also prescribed ezniac gel and peroclin 2.5% in the 2nd and 3rd month respectively.
