Is periostitis calcanea dangerous
Hi. My doctor has told my husband has got periostitis calcanea. And has given vitE tablet n hot water heel immersion. This hasn't helped much. Shud i take a second opinion? Please advise if its dangerous n needs immediate action?

It is not an emergency and not dangerous.probably he meant calcaneal spur. Use soft heels or heel cups from orthotics.meet a doctor in your own free time

It is not dangerous. But if pain is not improving it needs to be evaluated in detailed and treatment course needs to be changed. Please consult for more details
